Jasper County School District will host Saturday Academy for the 2023-24 School Year on each campus, beginning January 20, 2024. Saturday Academy will take place 8 am-12 pm.

Saturday Academy is an amazing opportunity for our students to come and receive small group instruction via a targeted academic approach. This is also an opportunity for students in Grades 3rd through 8th and students who are enrolled in End of Course Assessments. The goal is to ensure that students whose academic data is below grade level have an opportunity to improve academically and avoid possible grade-level retention.

Jasper County School District Educators use ACCESS results, along with other WIDA resources, to make decisions about students' English academic language and to facilitate their language development.

Assessments will occur from January 22, 2024, through March 8, 2024. Visit this link to view the testing resources.

The National Weather Service has advised of a strong storm system that will affect the area. The forecast predicts the potential for high winds, heavy rain, and the possibility of flash flooding.

To ensure the safety of all, students and staff will remain home and participate, during school hours, via eLearning, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
